ABCCANOPY 10x13 Cantilever Patio Umbrella Double Top with 360° Rotation

The ABCcanopy cantilever is a very large patio umbrella. It has full range of motion including tilt and rotation to allow coverage over a very large area. The umbrella stand is made of strong aluminum making it durable while maintaining a minimal weight to maneuver. Do not get me wrong, this is a heavy umbrella, but can be moved.Assembly took my wife and me about 2 hours to build. It was of moderate difficultly and definitely should be built with at least two people. The most difficult part was… lifting the bulk of the umbrella onto the base “pole” that was attached to the bottom platform.Once put together, the umbrella stood firmly upright. THE UMBRELLA IS NOT USABLE WITHOUT A BASE WHICH IS NOT INCLUDED. I had purchased a base as well but wanted to see how the umbrella works without it. As soon as you tilt the umbrella away from the stand and start to open it, the whole umbrella will fall forward.After detaching the umbrella from the stand it came with and attaching to a proper base, the umbrella worked very well. It is easy to maneuver by using the handle to tilt up or down and there is a foot pedal that you step on to unlock the rotation.The umbrella fabric feels strong and is vented at the top for mild wind. You do not want to have this umbrella open during heavy winds as even with a 200lb base, the umbrella will likely either tip or tear.Overall I am very happy with the ABCcanopy cantilever umbrella. The sturdy quality and size is perfect to give shade from the hot Arizona sun. The base is not included with this purchase so make sure you get a base that has at least a 190lb weight capacity per the specs of this umbrella.

The ABCCanopy cantilever base is made of a hard plastic material. It is very large measuring just under 3 ft x 3 ft. The total weight capacity is 404 lbs when filled with sand, or 275 lbs filled with water. I am using this base with a ABCCanopy cantilever umbrella, and as expected, it is a perfect fit.To assemble, this base becomes the new base of the umbrella. You first must detach the umbrella from its current base, then use the screws from the old base on this new base. For my umbrella, it w…as just 4 screws to attach. There are two holes that can be uncovered on the top to fill with water. I used a garden hose and it filled up within about 5 minutes. If needing to drain the water, there are two holes that can be opened on the sides.The base has 4 wheels on one side that is used to tilt the umbrella and roll. I have not needed to do this as I built and filled the umbrella in the place I plan to use it.With this base attached to my umbrella, I now have full function of my umbrella without worry of it tipping over. I live in Arizona so I will have to see how the water lasts come summer. If the water evaporates inside, I will have to fill it with sand instead.

This is THE perfect base for my 10' ABCCANOPY cantilever double-Top 360⁰ rotating canopy umbrella.It arrived 100% ready to go. The holes lined up perfectly with my umbrella base. It took 8 screws to bolt it down.I added only water to it and it is heavy enough that my umbrella isn't going anywhere, and we have some very, very strong winds.It is a little difficult to move when it's full of water and I know I definitely couldn't move it on my own if I added sand or concrete. Two people? You bet.

I am absolutely thrilled with this cantilever double top patio umbrella! Easy to assemble and great coverage!

I really like this umbrella because it was easy to assemble — all of the parts marked and organized — is made of strong extruded aluminum, solid parts and connectors, and is nice and sturdy. Initially I assembled it on the cross-braced included base, but then realized by removing that base, it fit perfectly on the ABCCANOPY umbrella stand I ordered (there were no instructions on that included with either, but it was painfully obvious what needed to be done once I studied its for a minute). Even… though it is stormy here right now — the reason there are no photos of it open — it is easy to deploy and store via the handle for lifting/lowering and the crank for opening/closing. The umbrella itself is flexible and large enough to readily block the sun as it travels across the sky during the day. All-in-all, a great poolside umbrella.

This product is very sturdy and made of heavy duty, durable materials. I ordered this the same day as the canopy umbrella from the same company. This one arrived and, for some reason, my umbrella order was cancelled. So, now I have this base with no umbrella. Hopefully, I will be able to get the canopy umbrella reordered so I can use this product.

Fills very easy, you will need fill one side at a time since they are split. The fill hole is big enough with sand or water, I went with water.Has two drains on each side, making it easy to drain.Very durable with strong plastic.I definitely recommend you make sure it’s where you want it before filling, because even with wheels it’s a workout!
