Will these fit a canopy from another brand?
Yes. Nothing here is series-specific or size-specific, so they work with our canopies and most others.
Which weight bag is best for photography stands?
The saddlebag design. It drapes across the stand so the weight sits evenly on either side, with a D-ring for attaching light stands and a double Velcro closure to keep the sand in. Each bag holds 25 lbs.
Do I need to weight all four legs?
Yes. Every set is four bags, one for each leg. Weighting all four corners distributes the ballast evenly and helps reduce lifting, sliding, and uneven movement.
Do the bags come filled?
No. Every bag ships empty, so you fill it on site with sand, gravel, or water. Filled bags would cost more to ship than the bags themselves.
Are the listed capacities per bag or per set?
It varies by product. Some listings give the rating for each bag; others for the full four-piece set. Check the product description before ordering.
Do I still need stakes and ropes if I use weights?
Yes. On grass, use all three. Stakes pin the base, ropes steady the frame, and weights hold each leg. On pavement or decking where stakes won't go, weights are doing the whole job, so you want more of them.
How long do weight bags last?
Fabric bags wear from UV and abrasion, not from the weight itself. Emptying them between uses and storing them dry rather than leaving them out loaded gets you a lot more seasons.

Can I return weights if they're not right?
Yes, within 30 days, provided they're unused and in the original packaging. Return shipping is your cost unless the item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect.
